Description
Integrated Design (TM) included development of a new brand identity, packaging graphics and revolutionary shape of the bottle. After the image change, Edelweiss wheat beer, brewed in the Alps, became part of Heineken group’s global portfolio of products, and has now been introduced into most of the global markets.
The Alpine edelweiss flower icon and labels in metallic colours evoke associations with frost and cold. The minimalist style of the bottle exposes engraved Alpine peaks and its underside hides another image of edelweiss flower – the symbol of the mountains. Through our design a local product achieved timeless image targeted at European youth in urban areas.
